Currently, international studies indicate that approximately 1 in 100 people will receive a diagnosis on the autism spectrum.

Autism is experienced by people in all ethnic, racial, and social groups. Studies show that signs of autism are usually present by three years of age and it is four times more prevalent in boys than in girls.
