Entitlements

As a Dimensions employee, what am I entitled to?

Leave

Throughout your employment with us there are various types of leave you may be eligible to take:

  • 24 – 30 annual leave days per year*
  • 8 Bank Holidays per year*
  • Time Off In Lieu if appropriate and agreed with your manager
  • Dependants leave up to 6 days*
  • Bereavement/compassionate leave of between 3-5 days*
  • Up to 12 days time off for public duties depending on the contract of employment*
  • Paid study leave if agreed with line-manger in advance*

Sickness

If you are absent from work due to sickness we offer a generous sick pay scheme*.

Pension

We offer a money purchase pension scheme. You have to put in a minimum of 3% of your pre-tax salary. In return we will be putting in a whopping 7%*!

Accident and Life Insurance

All employees are covered by personal accident insurance when they have completed a years service. All employees are also covered for personal life insurance, with a sum (of three or four times your salary) payable to your nominated person in the event of your death*.

Family Friendly Policies

We have a maternity policy which offers maternity pay above that required by law*. We also have adoption, paternity and parental leave policies. We have a flexible working policy which allows you to propose a change to your hours, days and place of work. All staff are entitled to request a change under this policy although carers or employees with a child under the age of six have additional legal rights*.

Recruitment incentives

We offer support staff an incentive to introduce suitable people to the organisation to fill vacancies. We will pay employees up to £150 for each candidate they introduce to us who secures a job and successfully completes their probationary period.

Long Service Award

If you stay employed with us for 5 years you will receive a £50 net payment with your salary. You will receive £50 each time you complete 5 years service with us*.

Expenses

The organisation will repay expenses for travelling and working away from your normal base of work as set out in the Business Expense policy*. Also, in order to encourage car sharing, we will pay you 2 pence for one passenger, per mile or 4 pence for 2 or more passengers,per mile.

Support

We provide access to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) which can be used to obtain information and advice on a wide variety of topics including family and marital issues, emotional problems, work, legal rights, financial issues, addictions, consumer advice and many
more.
